Priscilla of Boston is a wedding design company founded by fashion designer Priscilla Kidder in 1945 with the opening of the Bride’s Shop on Newbury Street in Boston, Massachusetts. Priscilla was always celebrated for her distinctive handmade wedding gowns but she became nationally famous when she designed gowns for the daughters of President Johnson and President Nixon.
